Terms of Service

AlignVastu is a digital consultation platform that enables users to upload floor plans and receive personalized Vastu Shastra analysis reports prepared by experienced Vastu consultants. Our Service includes, but is not limited to:

• Floor plan upload and submission
• Expert Vastu Shastra analysis and evaluation
• Delivery of detailed consultation reports with observations and recommendations
• Suggested remedies based on traditional Vastu Shastra principles

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater
• Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under applicable law
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable United States federal, state, or local law

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password
• Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@alignvastu.com if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity.

AlignVastu offers consultation services at prices ranging from $49.00 to $179.00 USD, depending on the plan selected. All prices are subject to an additional 18% tax, which will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

• Currency: All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
• Payment Processor: Payments are securely processed through Stripe, a third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
• Authorization: By submitting a payment, you authorize us to charge the specified amount, including applicable taxes, to your chosen payment method.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.

Upon successful payment and submission of all required materials (including your floor plan), we will deliver your Vastu consultation report within 48 hours. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the analysis or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to meet the stated delivery timeline and will notify you promptly if a delay is expected.

We handle refund requests as follows:

• Before Report Delivery: If you request a cancellation before your consultation report has been delivered, you may be eligible for a full refund at our discretion.
• After Report Delivery: Because consultation reports are custom-prepared digital products tailored to your specific floor plan, refunds are generally not available once the report has been delivered to you.
• Quality Issues: If you believe the report you received is materially incomplete, inaccurate based on the floor plan you submitted, or otherwise defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@alignvastu.com. We will review your concern and, at our sole discretion, may issue a partial or full refund or provide a revised report.

All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Our Intellectual Property

All content on the AlignVastu platform, including but not limited to the website design, logos, branding, graphics, text, software, and proprietary methodologies, is the exclusive property of AlignVastu or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.

Your Consultation Reports

Upon full payment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the consultation report delivered to you for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the report or any portion thereof
• Publish the report publicly or share it with third parties in a manner that implies AlignVastu endorsement
• Use the report as the basis for competing services or products

AlignVastu retains all underlying intellectual property rights in the report content, methodologies, and analysis frameworks.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete floor plans and property information. Inaccurate or misleading submissions may result in an unreliable report, and AlignVastu will not be held responsible for inaccuracies arising from faulty input.
• Use the Service and any reports solely for lawful, personal purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Refrain from uploading any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or the computer systems and networks connected to the Service.
• Not use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful or disruptive code.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service or any related software.
• Not use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission.

Violation of any of these responsibilities may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service, without refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• AlignVastu, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
• In no event shall AlignVastu's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the amount you paid to AlignVastu in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• AlignVastu does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlignVastu, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Any content or information you provide through the Service, including floor plans and property data

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@alignvastu.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve your concern within 30 days of receiving your written notice.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and AlignVastu agree to resolve it through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language and shall take place in the State of Delaware, or at another mutually agreed-upon location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against AlignVastu.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described therein. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, may provide additional notice through the Service or via email to the address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the Service will cease immediately
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue in full force and effect, including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@alignvastu.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for any services already rendered.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements or policies expressly referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and AlignVastu regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
