At AlignVastu, we are committed to delivering high-quality Vastu Shastra consultation reports. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and how to request one.

1. Overview

AlignVastu provides personalized Vastu Shastra consultation reports based on user-submitted property details and floor plans. Our service packages range from $49 to $179, plus applicable taxes (18%). Payments are processed securely through Stripe in USD. Reports are delivered digitally within 48 hours of order confirmation and successful payment.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a full refund under the following circumstances:

  • Report not yet delivered: If you cancel your order before the consultation report has been delivered to you, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, including taxes.
  • Service not rendered: If we are unable to generate or deliver your report due to technical issues, service outages, or any other reason on our end, you will receive a full refund automatically.
  • Duplicate charge: If you are charged more than once for the same consultation order, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  • Incorrect package charged: If you are charged for a higher-tier package than the one you selected, the difference will be refunded, or you may request a full refund.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • After report delivery: Once your consultation report has been delivered (via email or made available in your account dashboard), the service is considered rendered and no refund will be issued. Vastu consultation reports are personalized digital products generated specifically for your property.
  • Dissatisfaction with Vastu recommendations: Because Vastu Shastra analysis is based on established principles applied to your specific property, we cannot offer refunds based on subjective disagreement with the recommendations provided. However, we encourage you to reach out to us if you have questions about your report.
  • Inaccurate information provided by the user: If the consultation report was generated based on incorrect, incomplete, or misleading property details or floor plans submitted by you, a refund will not be provided. Please ensure all submissions are accurate before placing your order.
  • Change of mind after order confirmation: If work on your report has already commenced (you will receive a confirmation email when processing begins), cancellation requests may not qualify for a refund, as resources have already been allocated.

4. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, a partial refund may be issued instead of a full refund:

  • Late delivery: If your report is delivered beyond the promised 48-hour window without prior communication from our team, you may be eligible for a partial refund of up to 25% of the consultation fee as a service credit or direct refund.
  • Incomplete report: If the delivered report is missing sections or is materially incomplete relative to the package you purchased, we will either revise the report at no extra cost or issue a partial refund proportional to the missing content.
  • Significant delivery delay (beyond 7 days): If your report has not been delivered within 7 calendar days of order confirmation and you choose not to cancel, you are entitled to a 50% refund while still receiving the completed report.

5. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

  2. 2Include your full name, the email address associated with your account, your order ID, and a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
  3. 3Our support team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and may ask for additional details if needed.
  4. 4Once your request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed as described in the section below.

6. Refund Processing Timeframe

Once a refund request has been approved:

ProcessingRefunds are initiated within 3 to 5 business days from the date of approval.
Credit CardRefunds to credit or debit cards typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Bank TransferRefunds via bank transfer may take 7 to 14 business days to reflect in your account.
StripeAll refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment gateway. Refund timelines are also subject to Stripe's processing schedule.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated. If you do not see the refund reflected in your account after the timeframes listed above, please contact us for assistance.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at support@alignvastu.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in delays, and we reserve the right to suspend accounts associated with fraudulent or unwarranted chargeback claims.
